Clark Dumont, M.S., APR, Fellow PRSA has more than four decades experience in C-Suite leadership communications in FORTUNE 500 companies spanning the Health Care, Aerospace & Defense and Hospitality & Entertainment sectors. In 2018, he formed Dumont Communications to share his experience and insights in Reputation, and sustainable stakeholder relations. Prior to his consulting practice, he was Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff to the Chairman & CEO of MGM Resorts International, where he also was Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications. Under his leadership, MGM Resorts International became an acknowledged leader in corporate social responsibility and consistently a FORTUNE Most Admired Company.


Before joining MGM Resorts, he led communications at BAE Systems, Inc. in its Electronic Integrated Systems sector, and across the U.S.


In health care, he led communications at Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield and Nevada Cancer Institute.
He began his career as a broadcast journalist in Washington, D.C. and in New Hampshire, his native state where he covered government, politics and breaking news.


He served as the press secretary for a U.S. Senate campaign, and the manager for a U.S. House of Representatives candidate.


He has served on the Advisory Boards of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizenship Foundation, and the Corporate Responsibility Association, participated in the National Security Seminar, is a member of the National Press Club and is accredited as a public relations practitioner by the Public Relations Society of America (APR). His commitment to the Communications and Public Relations profession includes the Arthur W. Page Society, the Board of the PRSA Yankee Chapter, service on the Dean’s Councils at the Greenspun School of Urban Affairs at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the Columbia School of Arts & Sciences at George Washington University. He is active in public media and has served on the Boards of public radio and public television stations in New Hampshire and Nevada. He is President of the Board of Southern Nevada Public Television/Vegas PBS, and President-elect of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He has a depth of leadership experience in the voluntary and non-profit sector that includes health, social and safety sectors.


He has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The American University and a Master of Science in Communications Management from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications.
